APPENDIX B - Proactive IT Maintenance

1. Purchase
This package provides prepaid support hours. Unused hours rollover every month

2. Usage
Time is deducted in 15‑minute increments for remote work and 30‑minute increments for onsite work.

Onsite work has a minimum charge of 1 hour.

Travel time within the Melbourne metropolitan area may be recorded as billable time when onsite service is requested.

If travel exceeds 30 minutes, any additional time will be charged at the standard rate.

3. Reporting
IT8 will provide a weekly statement of hours used and remaining balance.

  • IT Maintenance package hours rollover every month. This allows for project work if the monthly allocated hours have not been used. (requires a valid/active maintenance contract)
  • Proactive response.
  • Monthly team discussion either IT8 Internally or with your involvement.
    ** A 5-hour monthly plan becomes available after 12 months and can be beneficial for customers who have banked up maintenance hours.

Note

Should you exceed your monthly allocated hours, you will continue to be charged at that package rate. Eg. 40 hour maintenance p/h will have subsequent hour charged at $165 p/h.
